Sunday 13th October saw the launch of “Morola for Friends“, a solidarity campaign organised by Morola Caffè to bring 200 meals to Martina Franca families in need.
Under the supervision of Chef Tommaso Pioggia from Tomà Restaurant in Crispiano, a team of volunteers worked to create a three-course meal, using seasonal ingredients and with a gourmet touch provided by Chef Pioggia.

It’s a question of us all looking out for one another. Just because we’re ok today and things are going well doesn’t mean that tomorrow circumstances won’t change; we could find ourselves in difficulty at any time, so it’s important to help when you can. We hope to be able to organise many more events like this one.The Martina Franca Volunteers Association (CAV) helped us identify the families most in need of the meals and, for one day at least, we were able to bring some comfort and cheer.
